Saarah Patel follows a feminist contemporary art movement, inspired by creatives such as Petra Collins and Maisie Cousins, who create conceptual art and challenge the boundary between fine art and photography. Patel is inspired by introspection and her experiences, using these to fuel her art. As her work continues to progress Patel has begun to work in mixed media, this allowing the portrayal of deeper meanings and evoking emotions such as nostalgia through objects and images.
